About the Artist
Heather studied art & teaching at Johannesburg College of Education, a teaching college in South Africa as well as studying under a well known South African artist, Denzel Herring. She has exhibited in a nationally recognized South African Gallery in the Sandton Sun where she sold numerous wildlife paintings. Heather has also been commissioned to paint many subjects ranging from pets to horses to people in all different mediums.
Heather owned a paint party business originally named Paint Party Night that was later renamed Monet Your Way. She ran this business for 7 years. Two years as a travelling business and five years in her own studio. Unfortunately, Monet Your Way shut its doors in August 2021 due to ongoing pandemic conditions.
This however is not all bad news, as this has now allowed extra time for Heather to build up her art collection again and focus on her own paintings.
She is passionate about art and enjoys painting a variety of subjects along with the challenges each one brings. She also likes to paint in a range of different mediums but oil is her favorite. After that, acrylic, water color and pastels.
